In the fourth quarter of 2024, the top travel and local apps on Android in Europe showed varied performance trends. According to data from Sensor Tower, these apps experienced fluctuations in downloads and active users.

Booking.com: Hotels & Travel maintained a strong presence with weekly downloads starting at approximately 218K, dipping to 165K mid-quarter, and recovering to 208K by the end of December. Active users showed a slight decline from 14.9M to 13.3M, before a surge to 15.9M in the final week.

Airbnb saw its weekly downloads decline from 203K to a low of 133K, but rebounded to 185K by the end of the quarter. Active users mirrored this trend with a decrease from 6.6M to 5.2M, followed by an increase to 6.9M.

Yandex Navigator experienced stable weekly downloads, peaking at 131K and ending at 103K. Revenue remained consistent, averaging around $200 per week. Active users started at 17.7M, fluctuating slightly but remaining strong throughout the quarter.

Instabridge: WiFi Hotspot Map had varied weekly downloads, beginning at 138K, dropping to 83K, and then reaching 101K by the quarter's end. Revenue saw a peak of $356 in early November. Active users started at 443K, decreasing to 291K, before climbing again to 341K.

Google Earth maintained consistent download numbers, ranging from 113K to 128K. Active users decreased from 2.6M to 2.1M, with a slight increase to 2.4M in the final weeks.
